They have these types of events in WOW all the time and they are loads of fun and everyone always has a great time with them.

This idea is okay for the larger MMORPG games like WOW or LOTR Online, but with this scale of game it would be hard to apply anything worthwhile to it that would be any more noticeable than a drop of water in a five gallon bucket. IMOHO of course.
