I have gotten to lvl 17 and conquered next territory, But I can't get my geologist to find new mines on it. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong and what I need to do to find those mines?

I have no clue why im not able to get new territoryI have conquered bandits and still on lvl 17

Thank you for the great guide, really helped. I am now level 18.

I do have two points that could be added to your tips:

1) Mayor's House, wells & fields don't count against your Building Permits. Neither does a Noble Residence bought with gems (I do think you cover this).
2) Mayor's House, wells, fields & residences do NOT use up settlers. There are one or two others that don't count as well, but I haven't been able to determine which ones they are.
I have 154 working settlers
I have 85 buildings (not counting Mayor's House, wells, fields & residences)
I have 26 Militia and 45 bowmen
85+26+45=156
That still leaves 2 unknown buildings that do not use up a settler. I think my Noble Residence (bought with gems) may be one of them, but I haven't unlocked it yet so I can't build one to check.

First of all, big thanks to Adolia for posting such useful Infor. about this game. i tried it a few days ago and starting to like it, but, starting to realized I messed it up by placing buildings all over the place and unorganized after i've read them Pro Tips from the forums. Even after i've read them.. not exactly sure how to place them and had started all over to be sure that i have a good start. and now that i found your post with Screen Shots, I can't thank enough and can't wait to get started, well, again, lol. I would like to add you *** a friend and anyone i can get, just to look at their empire and learn from it. so if possible, Please add me as i don't really know how to find people in-game from these forums. Thank you
