NPC Fights
Okay I was just in a NPC fight and had close to 200 troops. They had the boss and 85 of whatever else it was. Why is it that my units can only attack 1 target each, while the NPC troops hit every one of mine and pretty much wiped my whole force with just that 1 unit in 1 round? I think that needs some work.

[QUOTE=JokersWild;156720]Okay I was just in a NPC fight and had close to 200 troops. They had the boss and 85 of whatever else it was. You need to compare hit points x units. Just add up the values. When you hit them, your weak units only did a tiny bit of damage. When his 'whatever else it was',why is it that my units can only attack 1 target each while the NPC troops hit every one of mine and pretty much wiped my whole force with just that 1 unit in 1 round? While this superior unit swept through all your forces because it gave more damage and the other units had nothing left to kill.

Most units can only kill 1 unit but some have a special ability called splash damage that will allow them to kill more then one.

I understand that all to a point, but the first swipe didn't wipe everything, just really knocked them out, but it kept going and hit every unit. I had Milita, Bowman, Milita and some Calv. I had about 85 bowmen and 60 or so recruits, maybe like 10 calv and rest was milita. They had the boss and 85 thugs. The first swipe the thugs took out about 3/4 of my bowmen, milita and recruits. My point was the thugs just kept attacking each unit, where as I feel that it should not be able to go through like that. With my full detachment I got the thugs from 85 to 11. I can not progress in levels without killing off them, but at the same time it takes forever to build up as I am not high level so am limited on attack options. I feel I kind of screwed that up from start by plowing through before the experience was kicking in for each battle, but still.

I'm guessing you were fighting Chuck? Look at his stats you need a ton of tanky units for him while doing as much damage as possible and cavalry do nothing against him or thugs.
