Alright, I know PvP is just in the concept change but I figured why not give some feedback while you're still trying to figure out how you want it to go.
First: let everyone keep their starter island safe and private. This will ensure those that just want to build and hang out have the option and won't be bugged by having to protect themselves/starting over.
Second: Make it adventure style. Make it so you need to build boats and cross an ocean or something to get to the main map where everyone can fight for land. That way you have to send an army to conquer your new territory and settle it/supply it and build from there. Do a lot of large instanced islands and when one fills, it makes a new one.
Third: If you lose your foothold on an island, you start out once again and get sent to the newest instanced island or perhaps options to join your guild mates on another island/whatever. When islands are conquered either by guilds/individuals/whatever they get prizes or prestige/whatever you want. When that's done wipe the instance and move on. Go crazy. Just make it fun.
Misc: I actually miss having to create "workers" that did nothing but haul supplies back and forth between buildings and your storage, unlike now where everyone just goes to the workhouse.

when you up grade your mayors house it takes off some of the time needed for each settler to show up
like I said before a page to show xp and rewards for each lvl
more coal mines coal is one of the hardest things to keep up with or lower the amount of coal needed for each thing
when people have thier island clear it is hard for them to lvl up with out adventures so why not after say lvl 32 you get better odds getting and adventure from your explorer.

Instead of earning rewards on an adventure, etc, what if the there is a secret treasure explored by building a building on a certain path/spot?

I would like to see the Officers chat tab make a noise when someone says something. It would be a nice, helpful touch!

Idea: Underground mines (or tunnels) in which you can use for offence or economic use (and it be level -1 of the map, and the surface be level 0 of the map) , and it would cost alot of wood to make like lots of fir wood or a bit less on hardwood and moderate amount on exotic wood, and the mines can be made bigger like when you normally build a building but with miner animations (person hitting the wall with a chistle and hammer, or the common game type the pickaxe, oh and it'd cost tools to expand it and wood, like three expansion types Like: wood and tools like noted above just with tools and wood types/kinds).

A few suggestions:
1. Make buildings moveable.
2. Add feature to withdrawal trade request, or make people's trade postings expire if they log off. I hate when I get an email that my trade was accepted the day after I made the offer. I don't need those supplies anymore!
3. Add a way to find out what resource area each work yard is currently working on. Example: I click on a fir wood cutter and the group of fir trees currently being cut down is highlighted.

I apologize if these suggestions have been mentioned before, but I've only been here a couple weeks, and these are the things that in my opinion need to be fixed/changed immediately.
1) Must be a way to flag buildings we want buffed by friends...whether it turns the buildings bright red, or puts a bright circle around them or literally puts a flag up on the buildings.....there must be something easy and obvious to let our friends know which buildings are to be buffed.
2) Trade limit increase.....I realize the 400 limit must be there to prevent people from making devastating errors....however, I cant count the number of times i've had to place 10 or more identical trades in a row. I realize that i could make macros to speed this process up, but holy crap....there must be some way of you guys changing this so that i can do a trade of 200 x items for 400 y items... and then a box that says to repeat this trade 10 times.....i dont care if a window pops up 10 times after initiating the trade and says ARE YOU SURE???...thats still easier than going in and creating a brand new identical trade 10 times in a row.
3) Automated geologist - Allow us to set our geologists to constantly search for new deposits (based on the types of deposits we select him to look for) and rotate through this list until we tell him to stop. These deposits run out so quickly, and its such a waste of money to stock up these deposits with gems when we know we will be gone for several days...or even hours. Even if the automated geologist charges a small fee to be set on automated....thats fine with me. It saves going a day or 2 of running several marble quarries at very low efficiency.
Anyways, I've got lots of other suggestions, but these are the ones that I feel really need to be implemented ASAP. Thx.

Can you add a ruler ticker on the trade bar? Kinda like a 1__100__200__300__400
