it would also be a nice touch if buffs were identified on the map by color. Change the swirling sparklies on the building to show the type of buff that was used.
Example:
Fish Plate: Blue Sparklies
Sandwich: Green Sparklies
Baskets: Gold Sparklies
Flying Settler: Red Sparklies
This would allow you to know at a glance not only what's buffed but also give you a general idea of how long it might last even when viewing in far zoom mode.
After playing the game for a few days, I am happy to say I like it. However, there is one thing I think should be added.
The first (and only, for now) is that I think a good addition would be something telling you the total production and consumption of resources. So, for example, if you have 3 fir wood cutters, 1 fir wood sawmill, and 1 coking plant, you should be able to see that you're gross production is 3, and the consumption for the sawmill and coking plant, is 3, so your total logs being produced would be 0. If you had another coking plant, it would tell you that you're running a deficit of 2 logs, so you would end up running out. Yes, the player can do this him or herself, but I think it takes too long, and once you get into owning many different areas, it may become too overwhelming.
1.) I think a "buff timer" would be helpful, when you click on a buffed buidling it would tell you how long the current buff will still remain active.
2.) Repeating the suggestion of a "resource/buildings " option for a total recap of output and number of buildings per type.
3.) A "one click" iggy button for trolls etc.
4.) an Overlaying hex/square map grid to help see what areas are buildable and not obstructed to facilitate planning
5.) A battle veiwer, as it happens, to help you decide if you want to retreat before it is too late, instead of an "after the fact recap in my mail"
I traded for 3000 bronze swords that were offered to me at a really good price. I paid and received my wares. I happily clicked "accept". And then I was a bit surprized when I couldn't build as many soldiers as the purchase should have enabled me to build.
And I realized that I had a storage capacity of only 800 at that point. So all the surplus (2200 Bronze swords!!!!!) was lost.
I opened a ticket but sadly the support team told me they could not re-imburse me for the lost wares.
Here's my suggestion:
Could in future the surplus be put in the star menu? So that it can be used once there is storage capacity again?
Thank you,
Tiana
(reposted this, I had it in the wrong thread originally)
Would be nice to have additional options available in the provision house to convert marble/hardwood planks to granite/exotic planks.
How about adding a night time to the game
After just reaching lvl 18 I have a few suggestions:
1. There is no point in friends besides buffng. Allow us to send explorers/geologists on jobs to friends, and give friends the ability to demolish exhuasted common resources and rebuild them Like Wheat, water, and mines.
2. Add what the upgrade actually does to the tooltip not just increase capacity or production. For example say increases population by 10, increases storage by 400, or increase production by 1.
3. Allow me the ability to demolish trees if I want to. I should be allowed to build a facility anywhere besides a mountain. IF I want to build a farm where trees are it should destroy those trees and let me build there. People will need to think if they really want to forever loose those trees in that location.
The need to speed up production rate by workers is important. Maybe have a drop tab to shift workers from maybe sawmill to tree cutting or to mason and such.
