Some suggestions for improving the newbie experience.

Why do mines use building licenses? They are perishable like fields and wells. At the very least, it seems like they should return the license when they are used up.

At least through level 20 when people are still figuring out what they are doing, return building licenses for tearing down buildings. Ohh look, you built 10 fir wood cutters and 1 forester. One of the problems is that the beginning tutorial implies that you have to place things right next to each other. So when you build a new quarry, it implies that you have to build a new mason next to the quarry. Suddenly you have 5 mason randomly placed across the map and quarries that have been exhausted and relocated.

Mention building licenses somewhere in the beginning of the tutorial.

Some basic representation of the supply chain in the beginning. Like 1 forester can support 1 cutter can support 2 down-chain. At least some basic idea of what amounts of supply chain management you need. Do it for the basic tab. People can "do the math" or extrapolate the rest of the materials, but some clue at the beginning as to what you realistically need for basic supply chain management.

The ability to move buildings, even if just through level 20 or so. You get a lot of new buildings through the beginning levels. The tutorials imply that buildings need to be near resources etc. You have no territory to spread out. By the time you get a basic clue as to what is really going on, you just have a pile of random buildings or buildings spread out all over the place with no organization.

Overall, the tutorial and the descriptions of a lot of the buildings and things could use a rewrite. There is a lot that is implied. Like a mason has to be right next to quarry, farms have to touch wheat fields, etc.

    Thief

I would love to have a thief that could stealth into a bandit camp or and adventure camp or even another player's island and steal something. May be not the super duper big price, but just something... that way there would always be something to do while you wait for your army to build up again.

Having just experienced the implosion of a guild, I would like to suggest that Guild Leadership be made transferrable from one person to another. If the guild leader wishes to step down or quit the game, it should be possible to appoint a new guild leader. Because this is not possible, the guild must be destroyed and then re-created, which wastes a lot of resources (building guild house, membership costs, etc). This has left a bad taste in a lot of mouths and imo should be fixed.

A restart option would be nice. Too many new people just dive right in without actually following the tutorial(Yes, their own fault), or they have not yet read the guides. I would say allow someone to restart until they reach 8th Level. When they do restart, make them begin with the tutorial again at 1st Level.

This is nuts having only One marble quarry at once

and in fact this doesn't make any sense you can have 5 stone quarries then 3 copper mines then only 1 marble quarry at once and the amount is only 320 can we have another quarry or at least double the context like one copper mine or even have one quarry per sector

    ok i have two suggestions:
#1 you can add 1 or two waiting settelers to a work yard to upgrade it tempolarily, this is a good trade off becase it will also use up building linceses becase a person will have to build more houseing. anyways arent the singel workers lonely anyways?

#2 instead of having 10 sowards/bows per soldier have one or two or mabey three. it takes 7+ minutes to produce 1 sword/bow thats 75ish min.ER the lowest recruit with one production house. even with multipal production houses it still takes up a large amt. of time. and with multip producion place it takes up more building lincences. anyways isent 10 sowards a person a litttle excessive?

Thank you for reading this... i hope you add/change something in the game

@FarmerBomb - At higher levels you get access to more marble quarries.

I would like to second the idea of being able to transfer Guild leadership. It seems so wrong that there is nothing in place to handle these situations. In the case that we are talking about, that was about 15,000 gold just gone and quite possibly some gems, too. Please consider allowing a transfer of leadership. Thank you.

I am with Frood and the others with the idea of someone being able to take over leadership.

I would love to see something like Council Buildings added. Guild Leadership under just one person can make things a bit difficult, whether it be to sketchy individuals, schedules, or even something as simple as "the grass is greener". With Council Buildings you would still have a Guild Leader with a guild house but you would also be able to appoint council members.

These CMs would have some power to maintain a functioning active guild (recruit, promote, etc) and could be allowed to build a Parliament building or "lesser guild house". This way if someone wants to step down a council member could "upgrade" his Parliament building into a full Guild House and take over leadership.

I hope you take the time to read this suggestion and I double hope someone finds it an appealing concept.
