You probably need just 1 more experience destroy another bandit camp and see if it does the trick.

Agreed. It has always said this for me. AND I just leveled up.
Same for me. I am at level 12. My green bar is about halfway, but it still says 0 point for next level. And it has been like this for many levels.
Yeah I just leveled to 14 and looked at my XP bar and it says that also.
This is most definitely a bug. We are working on getting it fixed.

You don't need to be level 8. Click on the Buffs tab in the Provisions House and you'll see the fish plate.
