I LOST A TOTAL OF 820 Recruits and 8 Militia

I will keep you posted. and will be updating this until I destroy every leader camp or my time runs out. but it will be here in full be back after my troops get done being built.

plan of attack... I am going to go counter clockwise from the landing zone... I am going to aim for the bandit leader camps and skip many regular camps. Since they have no bearing on xp just like when you are first clearing the island.

I will be embarking on the journey with 260 recruits 40 militia and 100 horses for the time being... I will be using the cavalry when there is nothing with first strike in the mix in order to cut down on some recruit losses. if you do this I advise you either follow this guide to the T or you pay attention and make sure to not make the deadly mistake of facing them vr. other first strikers.

after I land. my first camp will be to me direct left.

    (first camp)
    camp of 70 nomads...
    100 cavalry killed 28 nomads.
100 recruits cleaned up the nomads.

    nomads killed 15 recruits.

    (camp 2)
next camp is 40 lance riders and 40 nomad...
attacked with 160 recruits and 40 militia*note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
I lost 33 recruits leaving me with
leaving me with 127 recruits and 40 militia after combat resolved.

    (camp 3)
is the south camp that has 40 nomads and 40 composite bowmen...
attacked with 100 recruits and 100 cavalry
100 calv. they killed 40 composite bowmen and 2 nomads.
    recruits cleaned them up.
13 recruits lost there lives for this attack... let us mourn them...

    (camp 4 BANDIT LEADER)
60 Nomads 40 Lance Riders and 60 composite bowmen.
attacked with 130 recruits and 70 militia.

    I lost 39 recruits.

    (camp 5)
60 lance riders... or else they intercept the next bandit leader.
attacked with 75 recruits and 40 militia.*note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
    I lost 25 recruits.

    (camp 6 BANDIT LEADER)
90 nomads and 90 composite bowmen
attacked with 60 recruits, 40 militia and 100 cavalry
    I lost 60 recruits and 8 militia

    (camp 7 BANDIT LEADER)
80 lance riders 120 composite bowmen
attacking with 148 recruits and 52 militia*note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
    I lost 80 recruits

now you own the middle sector and the top two sectors... you are half way done 7 more camps to go!

    (camp 8)
30 riding amazonian guard 40 riding bowmen
attacking with 120 recruits and 66 militia *note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
    I lost 68 recruits

    (camp 9 BANDIT LEADER)
60 nomads and 75 riding bowmen
attacking with 134 recruits and 66 militia
    I lost 112 recruits

    (camp 10)
    70 nomads 40 lance riders
attacking with 134 recruits and 66 militia *note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
    I lost 46 recruits

    (camp 11 BANDIT LEADER)
    70 nomad and 20 cataphract
attacking with 134 recruits and 66 militia*note*(militia is just a body to do damage... no need for the extra damage at this point)
    I lost 43 recruits

    (camp 12)
70 nomads and 40 lance riders
    attacking with 200 recruits

This helped a lot for my first adventure. I did not fare as well as ootter regards losses, but I'm happy with the loot. For the final battle, 50 soldiers and 150 recruits were used. It took 10 rounds with 147 recruits lost.

    Good Post! Thanks ootter!

    loot:
    300 granite
    350 marble
    600 iron swords
    600 long bows
    100 settlers
    1000 iron ore
    7230 xp

This is a terrible guide. I would not follow this guide at all. There are many camps that can be skipped.

Look at the date? You guys are the ones to be talking?? I did look at the date.

The date of the post in this case does not forgive the guide being terrible. It's dated "9-27-11"

    Compared to this guide: http://forum.castleempireonline.com/...laxy-Horseback

Dated "9-01-11" which is WAY WAY before the date of this guide on this thread. So my evaluation on this guide being terrible compared to ANOTHER one that is DATED BEFORE it still stands. So PLEASE before you say. "look at the date". You should look at the date yourself. LOL.

The date of the guide for 9-1 is actally way better than this one. And its much older.

NO its not the best information he had at the time. There was another guide that was older than his by almost a month. 4 weeks earlier. He had plenty of information to go on.

And this thread was dead and buried - why revive it?
