Fir Wood Forester

I have a Fir Wood Forester but I don't get anyone one to work there. I have idle workers on hand but no one is working. It says work time N/A, could it be that it is to close to the trees or something. The game let me put it there but after all this time, I notice that there is no one working. What can I do to correct this?? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Maybe your inventory is full of logs. If your full no one will be working at that particular job.

Do you have too many foresters? I don't have this problem but I think if you had either too many foresters, or not enough cutters the forester wouldn't be working because the forest is limited on a two way basis. Your forest can deplete but the spots where the forest was cannot be built on and can be regrown in the same spot. I think if you have no trees down you can't grow more.
