For the bone church and witch tower, I used 75 recruits, 50 soldiers, 50 cavs, and 75 xbows. You loose all the recruits in both, some of the soldiers, but the cavs and xbows aren't touched. Against the witch tower, there is the chance of losing about 13 xbows, but it is pretty small.
Yes you can skip Camps 2 and 3 now. And Bone Church I hit with one wave - 140R 10M 100XB Lost 140R and 6M

You don't automatically get Old Friends. It's just a % chance to drop as part of your loot from WotS.
I'm going to do this adv. in couple days I'll post my reward so u can add more to the list.
