    Ugrade General

    I think that your general should be able to be upgraded by mats, exp, and or win/loss ratio. The upgrade should either a better attack, amount of units to command, or special ability. The special ability should be mats. The amount of units commanded by win/loss. And attack and or health by exp. Or perhaps there should be better one at tavern. Gained by players lvl.

    Several choices Bobj? Currently we have 2 choices and the only difference is the recovery time.
    The new general that may or may not be added (most likely will be) allows 250 units instead of 200.

    I've always liked the idea of the generals gaining experience, and with experience more power. The first general you buy from the tavern could easily start out with a max of 50 units to control and as you take out camps on your island earn the right to control more men. At some point he could gain some sort of "morale booster" for his troops which could give his troops a % increase on something, etc.

    There are tons of things they could do with generals...there is no reason to limit it by saying "we already have several choices."

    I Think tavern generals should be able to upgrade to veterans after a time, same with Geo's and explorers after x missions they upgrade to silver which is say 2/3rd the time it takes. which still puts value on the gem version

    There is the normal general. Battle hardened general. Grim reaper general. And soon we will have the veteran or master general.

    The problem with this is that it gets kind of hard to balance things like adventures if generals are vastly different from player to player. I know this is going to be an issue with the 250 unit general being released but at least it will be just one difference to account for then.

    I'm not saying it wouldn't be a challange...it should be a challange to keep a game as balanced as possible. I'm just saying most people like diversity or "character development." There's a fun factor in getting to know your general, building him up, etc.

    I realize this may not be the direction the game wants to go, it was just a thought that I liked. I won't have a problem if it never happens either, I enjoy the game that way it is now as well.

    p.s. Just because generals have different names does not make them different. Right now the only difference are recovery time and the possibility of having one that can control 250 units instead of 200. That would make three different types while currently there are two.

    I agree it would be fun if the general could gain some random bonuses through fights- maybe a small percentage of gaining a special trait or like your saying leveling up.

    well elaborate, share some more ideas, ideas that are following through my head are disastrous. so i say no
