You obviously missed the entire point of this post, and where the post is located at.. I'm not mad by any means about the darkness buffs - I love this event after all, which I clearly stated above... It was how the darkness buffs had gotten placed on my buildings.......... Little more clear?

maybe the confusion was your personal attacks on me Kroc, that had NOTHING to do with the bug. You spend the evening bragging about being a millionare CEO of the 7th largest jewerly company on the fortune 500 and claiming you could "buy" me, then get upset when i let you know i am not for sale. What part of that exactly included "equal to that of a pedophile, cybering with teenage children in global chat, when your supposedly a renowned "Clay artist" and have clientele internationally, I don't find this behavior to be very professional, or carry a good sales pitch"?

Or possibly the confusion was from you posting that you "HAD" to make more light buffs, as if it was the end of the world to go without production for 2 hours.

For the record, and to help with the BUG REPORT, all of the members of the TC guild appeared in my friends list. I do not know how this happens, but it happens now and then. I went to krocs island and placed the buffs. I did not do anything to make him appear in my friend list, so there was no exploit involved. with almost 300 friends in my friend list i frequently buff people who i am not actually friends with when this bug shows up and no one ever complains.

It cost ME 75 pumpkins to do the dark buffs and was all in the holiday spirit and part of the game. No one forced you to pay gems to counter the buffs you could have just waited until they wore off.

Now your trying to act innocent? You knew exactly what you were doing Adolia. Exploiting a bug. Wallstreet who has NEVER ONCE visited my settlement buffs me once, and like a shadow you were there within SECONDS of him doing that - that tells me your lying about "not knowing"... Besides you would have absolutely no desire, what so ever to visit my settlement in the first place, if you couldn't bring some sort of destruction with you. So again, acting innocent doesn't get you anywhere here.. And a darkness buff here or there - I wouldn't have minded, But you hit me with 15 Darkness buffs on ALL of my important buildings, another sure fire sign of it being intentional, again acting innocent get's you no where here.

I was 100% honest. I buffed you with 15 darkness buffs. I did it. I spent 75 pumpkins to buff you with 15 darkness buffs. That does not mean I intentionally made you show up on my friend list so i could. In fact your giving me way too much credit thinking i would ever know how to do that. And wallstreet did not hit you with ANY, so quit lying. I did them all. Me. 100%.. Besides why are you complaining? you ended up with 4x production on all those buildings at half what it would have cost if you had swapped. Your welcome.

For the record, There were 16 Darkness buff... You placed 15 of them, Wallstreet placed the first which opened the door into my settlement... He was the only AK member on my friends list, like I have said before.. earlier... up there... in another post, clear?

And quit playing ignorant on that bug, it's has been around for A LONG time now, and I know you didn't learn about it's existence when this post was created.

to say for a fact I did ANY buffs is an outright lie tho, I have no problem admitting my actions. Matter of fact, I put 5 dark buffs just yesterday on Paul1088 for doing a reverse trade on one of my mems. That said, I never put any on your buildings. adolia told me that you showed up on her friends list and her intentions, I went to see if the buffs would actually work cause I didnt think they would. Simple as that, you can believe what you want but you seem to have more stories than mother goose and its only further hurting any credibility that you may have had.

And to Demacia, you took me off as a friend but I'll gladly refriend you if you would like to do that. Not gonna make me lose any sleep or go blowin up the forum about it, how did this thread involve you in the first place?

Why do you keep saying I am trying to defend myself? i have totally admitted that i did it. I have also said this bug has been around a long time. But you are totally off base if you think that i have any control over the bug. it is RANDOM. why don't you test it out and see if you can control the bug with you theory before accusing me, wall or anyone else of exploiting it. As far as i know there is NO WAY to intentionally get the bug. Why you think that wall visiting you would give me the bug is completly insane. I have seen dozens of people get this bug who arent in a guild. I have gotten it so many times i can't count, and for several different guilds.

You need to get a grip on yourself. All you are trying to do is take the focus away from all the lies you told, and the fact that i proved you were lying. You are using this to try and turn people against me by claiming that i have some sort of control over a bug. So unless you can prove your theory works DROP IT already.

Are you sure reporting a bug was the entire point of your post? If so, you may want to consider doing even more editing. As it stood originally, there were a few rather vicious and libelous personal attacks in your "bug report". Even after your careful editing, it still comes across more as a whining session and less as bug report. One would think that the CEO of the 7th largest jewelry company on the Fortune 500 (even though there are no jewelry companies on the 2011 Fortune 500 at all, much less seven of them) would be busier than to engage in such needless drama.

BUG REPORT UPDATE:

To help out the developers on this bug I have done several tests to see when and how the guild bug happens. The only time I can create the bug is if I buff someone who is not in my guild. When i do that it gives THEM the bug. it does not happen every time, so it isn't something that you can control entirely, but i could successfully cause it doing this. I also tested it over and over to see if me buffing someone would give my guild members access to that person. I could not get this to work at all.

So the way this bug most likely happened is by a member of TC buffing me and giving me the bug. I then had access to all members of TC and my guild tag changed to TC in global chat. Other people did not see the guild tag change, only I did.

I hope this helps with fixing this bug.

Alright I am locking this thread. Seems a little too hot in here for my taste.

We are aware of this bug and hope to get a fix soon. I would like to thank Kroc for his report, though I do not condone the way he went about it. When you submit a bug report, please keep personal attacks out of it. You could even replace names with Player A and Player B etc.

I will also go on record saying that I don't condone what Adolia did, by using the bug to get back at another player. In the future, if you find a bug, don't use it to your advantage.
