[OFFICIAL] Rules Clarification
In an effort to help clarify some of the more misunderstood aspects of our rules, I've set aside some time to make this handy-dandy guide, to help resolve any misconceptions on what's OK and what's, well, entirely noobtastic and officially bannable. Please don't argue that "it isn't this way" on other countries servers. As new things are added to the game, some new rules may be added as well as reformatting of older rules.

#1: NO PUSHING. What is pushing? Well, 'pushing' can most simply be defined as a series of unilateral exchanges (one-way transfers) that accelerate the growth of another player beyond a normal gameplay state. So if your idea is to team up and give Ol' Buddy Jerry all your combined resources so he can make a zomg huge army and roflstomp the neighbors; think again. If you are caught pushing you can expect a warning on the matter, if done again you can expect to be banned. If the pushing is bad enough GMs reserve the right to ban you outright.
#2: ONE ACCOUNT PER USER You can have one account for the game. If you were meant to have more we would have made the game so that your account could start more than one. If you think you can start another account to be sneaky and send resources to yourself and make this huge army and reign fire and terror on your enemies then you might want to reconsider. You will most certainly lose the feeder account, and you place your primary kingdom on the chopping block, which places you at that particular GM's mercy. That's not a good place to be. Easy solution? Don't make multiple accounts and think you'll sneak it by us. We can tell if you are, and it's not even that hard to figure out if you are or aren't. Save both of us the time and just don't.

Under a situation were you are using that gold to purchase the counterfeit membership from the store so they can get in the guild, that is fine.

yes we will see it in our tools.

Also, they can purchase the counterfeit membership themselves and gift it to you. Besides that, you are talking about a one time trade, not large quantities for next to nothing as pushing is defined above.

I understand that you guys are still in beta but you left an exploit in the game and you would punish players who use it? With rules outside of gameplay? (Which makes it even worse...)
I find this to be rather awful and particular bad design.
It's not that difficult to do an update which simply prevents players to do those kind of trades...
You have had a bunch of time to fix this, it was there in Closed Beta and a bunch of people did it.
It's the designer's job to identify the holes in his systems and to prevent them from being exploited.
Be it in beta or before, This should be fixed by the Dev Team, not enforced by divine powers.
On another note: (Read you say this on the general chat a couple of days ago)
Banning the one receiving the stuff is pretty ridiculous, it should be the one putting the trade up who should be banned.
And the reason is simple enough, he's the one with the overstock and is in a position to start again.
Also most likely he's leaving the game anyway so banning him makes more sense.
Also, when people do that most of the time they do it on the general trade window, which means no one player is exclusively pushed because the trade automatically disappear after sending a trade invite once.

Hi BB_MrGrimm,
Thank You for taking the time in expanding the rules. I'm requesting further clarification on the NO PUSHING rule. Here are the points that puzzle me:
1. At certain times, I would amass a large amount of resources. The game provides features where players can exercise goodwill/benevolence by sending gifts to friends through the Gift functionality (items in Trader). Another is via trading, where the norm is sending X number of resources for 1 fish. In certain cases, the amount of excess resources may be so high that a series of gift trades can occur. As an example, I may have 20,000 fir planks and gift 2,000 to a friend, accomplished by sending five 400 fir planks trades for 1 fish. Is this practice a violation of the NO PUSHING rule? If so, please also confirm that if I buy gems and gift my friend the same amount (5 Old Wooden Floors), I could be banned as well? Perhaps the rule only applies to weapons (which cannot be gifted) then? Or maybe there’s a percentage maximum based on the amount the originating player has in storage?
2. You mentioned “rolfstomp the neighbors” as a goal of PUSHING. I was not aware of the term and looked it up. I gather that rolfstomp is the act of defeating another player so bad to the point of humiliation. I request clarification on this as there is no player vs player (PVP) feature in the game at this time. Inherently, there are forms of competition that exits, such as levels, trade, number of structures, design, contests, etc. There may be clear winners in any of these forms. Certainly, some may not win, but I do not think it is to the point of humiliation. In the current version of the game, how could a player rolfstomp another? Please elaborate.
I enjoy playing the game and would not want to violate the rules. But then, gifting/trading with friends is one of the game features game that I enjoy immensely. To have it curtailed is not something I look forward to.
Thank You.

I'd like to get another clarification on pushing, if you made a trade with someone in your guild, to help them out, lets say they need fir wood logs, you send a trade for 1 stone for 400 logs, and than you do it again, does that violate the pushing rule
