I really think you should clarify this and quickly. I have helped guild members and they have helped me with the one fish trade. Are we in danger of being booted?

There is a player who is consistantly using multiple accounts, it is easy to tell because they are always on at the same time and more often than not they all three will trade 100 iron swords for 55 gold coins.

Well, 'pushing' can most simply be defined as a series of unilateral exchanges (one-way transfers) that accelerate the growth of another player beyond a normal gameplay state.
All we have to do folks, is use common sense. MrGrimm has spelled it out very clearly. If you are gifting, or giving friends and guild members decent deals, or trading off excess, etc... you're fine as long as the trades even out over time and are not just being funneled to a select player or players to give them an unfair advantage and to help super accelerate that person(s)'s game status. Pushing is pretty easy to detect versus the occasional gifting and/or lending a hand to another player.

Pushing is a deliberate act that by its nature is used to cheat and gain unfair advantages. Having fun, helping out friends and guild mates, is part of enjoying the game. We all know what is right and what is not right.

[TC] has implemented a trading policy that spells out very clearly what are acceptable in-guild trading practices. This helps us ensure that our members know what is acceptable and keeps us out of the pushing grey zone. We are known for our largesse when it comes to helping players both in guild and out of guild and by implementing a clear policy, it has helped us all stay clear of "over doing" it.

For example in TC, we interpret it as fine to gift a 400 item stack to another player -- but we have instituted a policy that any trade after that for the same material, to the same player, needs to be calculated using the trade calculator -- and must be between 100%-50% of the fair trade value (except for cheap things like fish, water, fir logs, stone, etc). This keeps everyone clear, and prevents overloading onto one player with nothing equitable being received in return.

If we have an in guild contest, we try to let support know ahead of time so that they are prepared to see the trades and what those are likely to be.

Basically, as I understand it as long as the overall trading practices even out over time -- and are made within the spirit of the game: the social aspect being an important part - we're all fine (and certainly MrGrimm will correct me on this if I've interpreted this wrong). Pushers know what pushing is and so do the devs. The devs are not going to bring down the banhammer on someone who inadvertently crosses a line, they will warn someone first.

    See you in game,

These rulse exist in every browser game just like this one. Anyone who claims to not understand or thinks they will fight the system or even beat it or cause it to chance is just fooling themselves. Use your head, play fair and quit complaining about the rules. It is their game, they make the rules, they say what you can and cannot do. If you disagree or don't like it. Move on! It's really that simple. Thank you Mr. Grimm for your efforts in this game, thank you Ubi for making it, and thanks to the players that play fair and help this play be enjoyable for all.

what if you are good at playing the trading game and make large amounts of profit from it? does this fall under these rules not necessarily pushing as such but i frequently have large amounts of income or output due to my trading. Will I be banned for this or am I able to carry on as normal.

****! Some people are THICK. If you need that much clarification of pushing, then you're probably already doing it and tryin to figure out exactly what you can get away with... Just follow the rules and have fun. Its a **** game. It doesn't mean any **** thing.

"An' I says: Its Ogre, you a-hole! An' den da **** Dean said:"

Honestly Grimm love ya, don't think this issue is so easily moderated. There could be over 50-60 reasons that would be an unbannable offense that this "pushing or 'multi" scenarios could fall under. Since this is a browser gamer and you have very good loggers for it I imagine you probably can see every trade. However, if you were to sit there and filter unno.... 2million trades a day you'd get nothing else done. I am still beating the evercookie wardrum Grimm.. There are no legal issues I had our attorney check at PG inc. You can use them you have to disclose them in your user policy that's all in reaaaaally reaaaaallly fine print ... save you all the trouble of even having to open your logs
