    ugh don't upgrade noble residence!!

I am just getting into the phase where everything is starting to slow down A LOT! Almost to the point my ADHD will drive me away from the game. Just starting to get my buildings going that will allow me to start upgrading more. I built a noble residence to save on building licenses and noticed that it cost twice as much to upgrade as a regular residence. I thought great I can upgrade the larger residence and it will double what I was able to get from regular residence. Now maybe I am blowing smoke for no reason maybe I would only increase the population by 5 by upgrading a regular residence. But it seems like res. buildings should list the increase they will provide with upgrade just like everything else. Would have done a couple upgrades elsewhere if I would have known I was only going to pick up 10 residents.

    Personally I understand your fustration.

I also thought that the increase on noble residences would be double the base as it seemed logical that it would be considering the normal residence base is 10 and increases by 10 per level.

I honestly think that the noble residences should be changed slightly. Seeing as they are supposed to be better than regular residences, they should give more population per upgrade too...

Maybe, not 30 per level, but at least 14, and my reasoning is as follows.

Level 1 residence gives 10, while level 1 noble residence gives 30... that's 3 times as much.

Level 5 residence gives 50, while a level 5 nobel residence gives 70... that's not even 50% more.

At the very least a level 5 nobel residence should give at least 100 pop.

So with a base of 30, +20 per level (twice per level of a residence), that would be 130 pop for level 5. (not quite 3x... but that's still better)

Another option would be to have +14 per level. Might seem like an unusual number, but, 14 x 5 = 70 + 30 base = 100. This would make it twice as good as a normal residence at max level.

    Just my honest opinion.

This is true, but if you plan to maximize your population using as few building licenses you will go for the noble residence.

You could always try to get a white castle (50 pop) or dark castle (100 pop) from the adventures
I play guitar and make music and started doing some video lessons on how to play guitar, if interested visit my youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/stygiana...1?feature=mhee

nobles are +10 per level at level 3 (which is easy to do) its 30+ 20 so 50 pop while i do agree they should be a higher pop amount given the level at which you get them and the fact nobles are the last population build you can build (without using gems or lucky drops) i personally think a noble should start at 50 pop. only because of the requirement for them. the costs to upgrade/time and the fact unless you are investing heavy in to gems to buy them out of the shop they are harder to come by.

my self at my level im using about 10-15 level 3 nobles. and i still have population limits do to army requirements :/
