No Access to Marble Mine?

In section 1 there are two Marble mines. When I search for the second mine, the Geologist comes back saying I have too many mines of that type. But I see on friends maps they all have two marble mines in each sector that has marble mines. I currently have 5 total Marble mines active. 1 in Sector 1, 2 in sector 3 and 2 in sector 5. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Usually if your geologist comes back and nothing is found he will just say nothing was found or unsuccessful something along that line I'm running multiple searches right now to test this, I will keep you updated.

After running about 7 geologists to search for marble, I have come to the conclusion that the first sector will only contain 1 quarry after the initial quarries have been found. To sum it up originally there are two quarries, after being found sector 1 will only contain 1 quarry.

From what I understand, you are only allowed to have 1 active marble quarry in sector 1.

There are two there, but you can only have 1 active at a time... if it seems your friends have two, it's because one of them is probably exhausted and they just didn't bother tearing down the depleted quarry.


Perhaps it is a bug and you are supposed to be able to have two there IDK, but I've never been able to have both active at the same time.

Yes that's correct, to the best of my knowledge. I spent about an hour sending out all of my geologists trying to find a second marble quarry in sector 1 eventually it would just say "failed".

I have had the two marble mines active at the same time. But that was a long time ago. Now, I am only able to have one mine active.

Yea I thought I had mentioned that, for what ever reason the second quarry seems to disappear after the tutorial is over.

As best I can tell is that you can have 5 active and the second one in sector 1 is in case you run out your geologist can fine a marble mine. I've not tried leaving an exhausted mine yet to see if it will be replaced without deleting it first.
