Suggestion - Dead Troops Not Counterattacking

Really now. When I wipe out an enemy force with overwhelming numbers and they attack anyway from beyond the grave it's rather annoying. I built that force to AVOID losing my men.

actually, it isn't that they are attacking from beyond the grave, it's that it's merely showing the results of the enemy troops' attack on you.

Imagine that both sides are attacking at once, and then just think of what's being shown as the losses being presented to you.

Perhaps there is a better approach to it... maybe they could adjust it so both sides show losses at the same time... However, my thinking is, the devs decided to seperate the losses on the two sides so that you can focus your attention on one side at a time.

I know this doesnt have too much to do with things, but it would be awesome if you guys added the ability to upgrade troops for gold.

yea the battle system doesnt seem right to me i mean when your attacking the enemy with an equal amount of melee as well as half as many bowman and a few higher lvl melee thrown in as well how can you lose at least half or more of your melee each battle ....doesnt seem to make sense ???

and the recruits have a better accuracy then the scavengers so 1on1 the recruits should win with heavy loses but with added bowman and a few militia why do you still lose more then half the recruits ???

The reason for that is hitpoints, each troop has a set amount and its deducted by an opposing troops damage and accuracy. Each troop does a certain amount of damage regardless based on their damage and accuracy. So even if 50 recruits alone will win a battle, sending 150 recruits and 50 bowmen you will still get the same losses as is the same for your own troops. The biggest thing you can do for loss reduction is finishing fights in a single round which I hope is self explanatory. The next best thing is for many fights you can utilize cavalry since they are the only unit we have at this time with 1st strike capability. If your cav kill all enemy troops during 1st strike they will take zero loss unless you are also fighting enemies that have 1st strike.
