I have read numerous postings about sending "waves" to attack the Metal Tooth camp. I have attacked three times now, and get wiped out everytime and Metal Tooth still lives. Can someone provide some tips here? Do I need to get a second general and army to attack?

You can up to 3 Generals attack the same target. They will attack on right after the other, between all three of them if you have the right mixture of troops you win the battle. If you gohere you will find a guide to beating Metaltooth.
