I know this may seem minor, but it doesn't look well to others when swapping buffs...my baskets disappear. I will click on the building to buff and it doesn't get buffed nor does it remain in my star menu. Just tonight I lost 3, but have lost many more in the past.

well, when you click on a building, whether it's one of your own or a friend's... there is a delay before it gets used. The delay is longer at a friends place than it is on your own.
Just a possibility anyhow, I've never lost any buffs when using them either on myself or a friend so this to me seems like the most logical possibility.
EDIT: I just realized I forgot to mention there is also a display bug regarding using buffs on friends...
Example: If you have 25 sandwiches, and you use 5 on a friend, when you go back home, it will still say you have 25 left.
But, if you then try using them on yourself, you will find you can only use 20.

I know about the delay and thought maybe that was it but they are just gone! I even relogged, but they didn't buff nor do I have them in my star menu.

If this happens again, make note of when, and what you buffed. Then send in a ticket to support.
