My explorer found 250 iron ore and I can't deposit it out of my star menu. I can select it and get the crown. But the mayor's house won't light up and I can't deposit it. Any idea's? I have logged out and back in a couple times.

Check to see if you are maxed out for iron ore storage. You will not be able to deposit if that slot is full. Once you have the space you will be able to deposit it.

I guess I should have noted that in the original post. I am no where near full. I am at about 170/1400.
If you have the storage space, tried relogging, sounds like a bug. I would put in a support ticket on that, i have put in a few while here and they have been good at getting me fixed up.
Thanks sent in the bug report form. I did notice that all my other items in the star menu are outlined with a blue box and the Iron ore is outlined with a red box. Wondering if this might mean something?
Blue box is for buffs, Orange box is for items bought in the Trader, and Red box is for treasure.

Have you checked to see if this is a iron deposit that is to be added to an iron mine?
It increases iron in a mine, not in the Mayor's house. Use it on an iron mine.
