Lost 100 hardwood

I'm level 17 my avatar name is TomBuilder
I had 100 hardwood in my star menu, I tried to put them in my mayor's House but they disappeared.
I never hit the "x" and if I hit it by mistake I never had the confirmation menu.
Mayor's house hardwood stock before and after operation 300.
