This shouldn't be happening, I hope they increase security, I won't come to the forums if there is spam.
Spam will be gone soon enough. We don't like it any more than you do, guys. We're working on it at the moment.

There was a fungus among us.
Easiest way to prevent this is to lock outdated threads. I personally don't see the need to have the thread at all after the contest is finished.
Hey everyone,
The problem was we were allowing people who weren't logged into the game post on the forums. This has been changed. However, it also means because of an issue with email verification that new players will be stuck in the unregistered group and unable to post. We will be manually trying to move these players to the registered forum sections.
There was a reason for our madness, thanks for bearing with us!

Yeah, user administration in forums can be a real pain especially when the forums are active and a lot of new users join daily!
