Generals going to Battle without Full Complement of Troops

    Hi all,

I have had two battles today - against 200 roughnecks.

In my first battle I intended to go to battle with 120 calvary and 80 militia. It appears I ended up going to battle with 28 soldiers, 74 militia and 61 calvary... 163 troops went when I intended to go and the troop mix was not the same as i was expecting.

Thinking I must have made a mistake, I went after the remaining Roughnecks with the intent of sending another 200 troups of a different mix. I can't recall the mix for the second battle but again, I was handed defeat because only 112 troops went to battle.

Anyone else seen this.... am I just having some serious pilot errors?

Ok - figured it out... probably not a bug... I think I forgot to hit "ok" after I set my troop allocations.... Doh!! so, my General went off with what was previously allocated... hard lesson to learn

However i have been doing something along this line, sending 1 recruit with the general. the general will kill a roughneck for the loss of 1 recruit. it takes time for the gen to recover, but can conserve troops while building up for the next way
