The rules that are set in the game are from the Code of Conduct and the Terms of Service. These dictate what can and cannot be talked about in the game, as well as the ramifications of such actions.

I do understand your point of view on this matter, but as you made the account you agreed to follow and adhere to these rules.
Thanks for taking the time to compose your reply. As a master of graphing, importing, rendering and animating digital gaming art, scripts, and backgrounds, on various dopesheets, node editors and development programs, i know how thin one's time can be stretched.

I'm not saying that you can't enforce whichever rules you choose to implement. I'm just saying that it's not possible to enforce this one, in any realistic way, without completely shutting down the venue which puts bread on your table.

The first amendment (religion and free expression) is more than a guarantee in any public or private forum; it's a symbol of something that can not be taken away from people no matter how many are slaughtered, tried or outcast.

I'm sure everyone has noticed what transpires each time any government (mach or legitimate) attempts to enforce upon them an exercise of control. More than just the single individual in question at the time speak up. No one wants to see their neighbor denied what this amendment symbolizes. Most will cast their lot with a revolt before they will abide by blatant, flagrant and unneeded censorship.

While i understand and empathize with your need for organization in any creation and invention that you invest in; it can never replace freedom without the loss of all; creation, organization and freedom alike.

The best government is the government that governs least. Sometimes we have to ask ourselves; are the things we have done the actions of the best government?
These things I very firmly believe: -That government should butt out. -That freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away. -That individual freedom demands individual responsibility. -That the tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. -That any group of people willing to give up a little freedom for a little organization will lose both and deserve neither.

This is not a government, it is a company. We have never stated you cannot talk about politics or religion, we have simply stated that if you wish to talk about such things to switch to another chat channel as Global-1 is for general discussion as well as game discussion.

This is not the place to have political debate either, as this thread is intended to give information to players on how to switch to another global chat.

This thread will be locked as no further discussion is needed on this matter.

P.S. The Supreme Court had unanimously ruled that while the First Amendment may allow freedom of speech, private property owners/companies may regulate what can and cannot be said on the property. Constitutional rights are only violated when the government and not a private citizen/company/organization tries to limit freedom of speech. (Pruneyard Shopping Center v. Robins, 447 U.S. 74)
