can someone please help. Everytime I log in the global chat will work until I press ok to go into the game. Then the "news" icon is the only available window. It prompts me with "no servers found" I try typing /join global chat-1 but it doesnt work. can someon help me so I can actually speak to others?
It sounds as though you are having a connectivity issue somewhat related to this thread. I would post in the Technical section and see what kind of response you get there, or send in a support ticket.

There is a chance that you may have done something naughty on global previously and got banned. All chats are logged so by the time you get the ban you may not even be on the game.
at least you dont have global. LUCKY!!
