We understand the economics/costs required for additional moderators and suggest that players who have demonstrated skills and willingness to help others be offered the opportunity.

Therefore, we request to have RomanGodCamper be considered for the position. Although I do not personally know or have met RomanGodCamper, I have witnessed this player dedicate a substantial amount of time in helping a multitude of other players. RomanGodCamper practically lives and breathes in Help Chat, responding to players in need with unswerving patience, proper communication skills, and more than adequate knowledge of game mechanics.

I invite all players to post comment regards this issue and the idea of having RomanGodCamper as moderator.

They were kicking this idea around and decided against it...legal reasons whatever. I simply do not go into Global now. Not even the GMs are there with any regularity anymore.

Well, this is best time then never i guess..

In my time in this game and online, within the first few hours i found myself not even using the chat box open, why? random topics that would make my kids jaw drop... so i changed my hours (weekdays) of playing to afterhours when the trolls and kids head to bed... and guess what... it was great.. mostly adults sharing help, tips, and other game stuff.. and even some insight on there own lives it was great!

Log on this past weekend.... chat box was off 95% of the time, only anwserd whispers and checked trades.. other then that, everytime i peeked into chat it was full of trolls and bad bad stuff not suited for kids...

gm/mods... if you want a friendly clean game, you gotta hire more mods or clean it up...

ohhh... and back to the topic.. there are alot of helpful people in this game i've met, but RGC takes alot of his time to study and answer almost 99.9% questions that come his way... if anyone could be a chat mod, my vote is for RGC ( and hes canadian, and who doesn't trust a canadian? )

I've never chatted with the guy, but his references seem good. Conceptually, I do agree.

In fact, the majority of the time I play with the chat off since I find the topics to be "annoying" (the most general way I can think of to describe it). I spend most of my time in trade.

One fault with RGC though is if you try to correct him on an answer he is wrong about, he will get mad at you (even went so far as to put me on ignore). Besides it's his own choice to spend all his time in help channel, doesn't mean he should get a mod status ahead of others who spend just as much time helping others

Why is it that anyone who disagrees with you or corrects your mistake is trolling? That's the same thing you always say in chat. Not everyone is a troll just because they don't agree with you. This is exactly the reason why you shouldn't be a moderator. You can't handle criticism.

I don't disagrees with the corrects but I don't think he needs to troll me in general about social life or other things.
