Something funny going on there. The ingame link to the forum directs to Settlers Online
It's not the German server it takes you to, but the UK forum. We have a thread about it here. The German forum shows up in German no matter where you are logging in from.

Well I've been posting German links in the forums cause most of the interesting news come from it. Thanks for the info LadyTerra, I thought they ended the UK version cause the thesettlersonline.com keeps sending me back to castleempireonline.com. Now I know that we are getting IP blocked and readdressed to castleempireonline.com in the US. I was able to go to thesettlersonline.com before it started to redirect me.
This also kind of tells you there is a cut & paste job.
I'd like to spend more time on the German forum, I just don't have the time. Thanks for the info you port over for us.

This issue has been resolved, the in-game link now points to the correct Forum.
