    40 Horses for 1 Cavelry ?

How about 1 Horse for 1 Cavelry ? Not realistic, not even for a game

Unless it represents a Regiment or some other larger group than 1. Just like the 10 Swords for a Soldier. Just the way they set it up. I do not consider a big deal at all.

It works on a ratio just like the Recruits, each 1 actually represents 4 horsemen, so for every 40 horses you are getting a squad of Cavalry. Maybe a tad expensive still even looking at it that way, but not out of the bounds with other expenses.
There are three classes of intellects: one which comprehends by itself; another which appreciates what others comprehend; and a third which neither comprehends by itself nor by the showing of others; the first is the most excellent, the second is good, and the third is useless. - Niccolò Machiavelli

    It's a game. Enjoy it.

Although I would prefer 30 horses per cavalry. Haha.

The ratio works very well so just make more cavalry to fight with it will all work out for you.
