The wheat fields are a slight issue for me. I build about 20 wheat fields a day and find myself wishing there was a way to assign a hotkey for building fields and that they didn't count in the building queue. I'd like to hit a hotkey 20 times in about 30 seconds and be done with it.
Yeah, I want a hotkey for the wheat fields and wells, if we're going to continuously refill them.

Build at least 2 fields for every farm. Why would you notwant a back up?
I never built a well until level 30. Just posted 1 coin for 400 water and got 8k water for 20 coin.
Eventually trading for water was taking too much time so I went with wells. Man did I need a lot.
I started upgrading them to 2 to get water faster.
Now I have 12 water wheels, all at least level 3. Still need wells, but not as often.

What I would really like to see is a feature that other people can plant wells and fields on my island.

just chiming in about replacing wells and fields. Im not even really that far in game yet (lvl23) but its already a pain. lvl2 fields/wells just aint worth it as is and waterwheel and silo hardly do anything to stave off my demands.

I agree, I think a new building is needed, A desalination plant. you should be able to build it next to rivers and the ocean, It could probably run on coal and produce unlimited water. as for the fields, Silo's usually solve the problem but if you are a free player like me, they don't help very much. i would enjoy being able to build one field on top of another to increase the number of wheat i that field.

I think the queue is needed, I believe the march update will expand this from the dev journal explanation. This was the #2 reason for me "taking a break"

Replacing the wheat fields gets a bit much. I have about 50 farms and that means I need to replace 50 fields a day. I even bought about 8 Silos but 1 silo only covers 1 farm...

is it my imagination or is there a problem with the water the last couple days.
i use to have quite a large amount in stock and it is dwindeling fast without my having changed other things?
not sure if i should report a bug or if i am missing something.
