So, you guys with over 2k population, are you just upgrading noble residences or what? I'm at 860 right now and if I used the rest of my licences on noble residences and upgraded to level 2 each I'd have a max population of 1260. That's still nowhere near what some of you have. What am I missing?

All of my nobles are upgraded to L3 and working on L4s, and I use any leveling gems and daily bonus gems for nobles.

Lvl 33 now and have increased the pop limit to 1050, still all level 2 nobles though and 1 gem bought noble.

If I may, 1 building license +10= 650 gems. 1 noble residence deed = 95 gems. For the price of 7 noble residence deeds you can buy a +10 pack and then have 3+ building licenses for free after you build 7 regular nobles with it. (for those of us who havent maxed out on the +10 licenses)

Pop cap is a nice even 3000.
all level 3 noble houses, Yes some were gem purchases. I have no problem supporting the game with a few dollars here and there.

thbear you need to build Residence under the basic buildings tab. They increase your max population by 10 (at level 1). Build about 10 of those should last you till you hit level 19 and can start building Noble residence (increase max population by 30 at level 1) under the Advanced buildings tab.

Who ever told you to upgrade your storehouse to level 4 - 5 is giving you incorrect information and making you waste resources at your current level.

Every 15 minutes you "grow" 1 settler.
You use bread at the Provisions house to make "wayfaring settler", "Traveler family", or "retired bandits" to add 1, 5, 25 settlers to your population instantly. (given that you have enough room for them)
