    Question Multi Wave Attack Question...

I still don't get the concept of 2 wave attack.. How do I send the first wave (just to take the dogs out) without getting my general killed?!

If I send a general with say 60+ recruits to take out 60 dogs, when all dogs and recruits are dead, wouldn't the thugs kill my general?! Am I supposed to retreat before my general is killed in the middle of the battle?! (If yes, how do I know when that is?).. Or would my general retreat automatically when all recruits are dead?

The only purpose to a two wave attack is that you can beat the camp faster (without having to wait for your first general to rest after his loss). The first wave will always lose and have to rest after the loss. The second general will win and not have to rest.

In multi-wave attacks, you will sacrifice your general and your troops. Because of the 200 troop limit per garrison, with some leaders (Mary, Chuck, Metal Tooth for example) it is impossible to take out their leader camp with just 1 combination of 200 troops. Hence, the need for multiple attacks or waves, with specific combinations of troops in each respective wave.

You can do fine with just one general -- however, he will need 4 hours to recover, or 2 hours if he is battle hardened (i.e. from the gemshop rather than from your tavern). If you have more than one general, you still cannot attack with more than one general simultaneously. So if you have the time and inclination -- allow your general to recover. If you prefer to speed up your game a bit and are sick of waiting around -- use more than one general. Be careful about how you load your garrisons, and make certain you send the correct troop load in for each wave.

    Enjoy and good luck,
