Go out and slay all the bandits and rogues And so they marched or’ field and knoll Through forest and valley they followed their goal. With one voice they sang, of the victories they’d win Of booty and loot, yet death was their fate. Recruits, Recruits, Recruits, Recruits! Cannon fodder is all you are!
