Skipping bandit camps

I have searched all over and am getting some conflicting info on experience gained by skipping bandit camps. I do not care about the loot since thus far the resources lost on each camp far outweigh the loot bonuses. Please help me with this scenario:

There are two camps left in sector 8. One is a medium bandit camp and one is metal tooth's camp. I can get in and attack metal tooth's without stepping on the other camp's red area. When I beat metal tooth do I get the experience from the other camp as well?

The best I've found is on the castle empire wiki that says you are SUPPOSED to get the experience which sounds unsure. BB_Katealyst posted in this thread that you only get EXP from camps you kill yourself. Not sure if that is different because she was talking about adventures.

If u did not defeat a camp, but u kill the leader bandit of that area, u will get the xP for that camp u did not defeat

So it is a HUGE bonus to skip as many camps as possible then right? I mean you are losing thousands of swords and horses and beer for pretty wimpy amounts of loot. In sector 9 I could skip lots of camps. Am I missing something?

No, you will get the experience from the camps you've skipped, you just miss out on the loot.

Some of the sector 9 loot is not too terrible- but I can see why someone would want to skip as many of those camps as possible since some take two waves to defeat unless you use the better troops.

So what is some of the good loot you remember? 50 soldiers is 500 steel swords ~400 coin on the market. 200 recruit is 2000 bronze swords. 50 cav is 2000 horses and a huge amount of beer. What loot could possibly be worth these numbers?

Well I said it was not too terrible- some of it was longbows- and if you are someone who did not make a longbowmaker I can see that as being a reward that is not so terrible, but maybe not worth it overall. If you can skip 4-6 of those sector 9 camps its probably going to be a good idea to do so for almost everyone, just wish I had known to do it!

when I got down to 4 camps (including Mary) the past 3 loots I had gotten was 400 bows, so I decided to take out Mary then & there.

As i'm remembering now, I probably got 250+ bows or 400 a few times on some of those last sector 9 camps which is a complete joke. Since no one clearing that sector needs more bows.

Wild Mary gives 10 licenses and 300 coins
2 of the camps that surround Wild mary (Far left and far right) give 300 coins after each win
the 2 in front give 1k fir logs
the other camps c consist of 1k coal x2 camps
1k fir planks x2
and i think 2 more of the camps (I KNOW 1 FOR SURE) gives another 300 coins. because i took out mary in a matter of two days and i remember i had upwards of like 1,400 coins after (i only had like 200 of my own, but maybe a little here and there spent on market but it is between 900-1200 coins)
