    Multi Wave Attacks

Can someone help me with this? I understand what they are, what I don't understand is how to execute them. I have read that the second attack should get there as the first one ends. How do you time that? Can you send both attacks at the same time? I just want a better understand of how it is done. Paint me a picture.

    Thanks!

What you've read about is a myth. The timing does not matter at all. As soon as the first general is finished with the battle he either wins or losses. If he loses the remaining defending troops are back to full health immediately and will remain that way until you attack again. You can attack within seconds or a week later and it makes no difference.

People like to talk about multi-wave attacks because many camps require more than one attack to defeat them. The time between attacks does not matter.

There are only two reasons that I've found so far to have more than one general. First, so you don't have to wait to send your second wave after a defeat (if a general loses he needs time to recover). The second reason is for adventures, so that you can send more than 200 troops at a time on an adventure and having more than 1 general helps with moving troops back and forth between adventures and your home island.

    Hope that helps!

Could not be more correct! At first people thought that you would be able to defeat certain bosses by simply sending two waves of cheap troops instead of one wave of expensive ones (i.e. wild mary fight) but like rantankerous said, even if they are sent at the same time the game handles combat individually and will treat the second wave as if it were sent after the first round of combat has results.

Yes there are a few of the bandit leader camps on the starting island that require soldiers/longbowmen/cavalry etc.. to defeat- for example I sent 30 militia 55 soldiers and 115 longbowmen just to defeat wild mary (after her dogs are all dead).

There is a post on this forum here you should check out for chuck- he requires 3 waves for most people and very specific troop counts for each wave. It's called "[TC] chuck and metal" I believe.

Yes, that post is very helpful. I personally prefer to use the simulator (it feels a little more like playing a game rather than copying others who have already done it). I've been able to beat every camp with 1 or 2 attacks so far (including chuck). A lot of people use 3 waves because they prefer to lose less overall materials or time depending on preference. I did it in 2 waves just because I wanted to see if I could. With that said, I don't remember what troops I used in each wave, it was a while ago.
