    [Adventure] Victor the Vicious

    *THIS GUIDE IS OBSOLETE

    Victor the Vicious:
(This is a 3 man, 8 skull adventure. I ran it solo, so my losses were large, but it was very do-able within the time given.)

    Troops needed:
    1252 Recruits
    681 Militia
    490 Cavalry
    177 Longbowmen
    626 Soldiers

Troops Lost: (It's worth noting that you won't lose this many troops. I was running this blind, but there are good German guides that I was unaware of when I started this guide that will help keep these losses down. See the alternate troop formations, or check out Aerose's link below.)

    1252 Recruits
    681 Militia
    440 Cavalry
    40 Longbowmen
    619 Soldiers

    XP: 27,482

I ran the first portion of this making up my own troop formations, which I am admittedly not very good at, so don't laugh at my armies, they were brave lads, and made me proud.

(I've included some alternate troop formations from the German Site which I unfortunately found a little late, Alt1 and Alt2:
    http://www.siedler-games.de/forum/ds...-von-10-a.html)

There are 3 starting sectors. My troops started in the middle landing sector.

    Starting Sector: (lower left)

    Blue Camp 1: 50 dogs, 50 thugs 50 rangers
    Sent: 50 R, 100 C, 50 S
    Lost: 39 R, 50 C

    Alt: 40M 120C 40LB, lose: 23-30M

    Blue Camp 2: 100 rangers, 50 roughnecks
    Sent: 20 R, 20M, 100C, 20LB, 40S
    Lost: 20R, 20M, 7S

    Alt1: 40M 120C 40LB, lose: 23-30M,
    Alt2: 160R 20M 20S, lose: 72-85R

    Blue Camp 3: 50 dogs, 100 roughnecks
    Sent: 70R, 60M, 70S
    Lost: 70R, 37M

    (2) 40S 160LB lose 88-92S
    Alt2: 200S, lose: 48-49S

    Blue Camp 4: 60 dogs, 50 rangers, 50 roughnecks
    Sent: 200R
    Lost: 168R

    Alt1: (1) 71R
    (2) 42R 60C 98LB, Lose 102-112R or you could send: (2) 50R 50C 100LB, Lose 108-119R

    Blue Camp 5: 50 dogs, 100 roughnecks

    Lost: 70R, 37M

    Alt1: (1) 59R
    (2) 40S 160LB lose 88-92S
    Alt2: 200S, lose: 48-49S

    Leader 1: 100 dogs, 99 roughnecks 1 one-eyed Bert

    Alt2: (1) 200R
    (2) 30M 170LB, Lose 200R, 18-28M

Top left sector: (I took this route because I wasn’t paying attention, and didn’t notice until after it was too late that there was a better way to go. I took the path under the rocks, skipping 4 camps. I’ve marked this route in red, since it’s really an alternate route. You would most likely take the yellow path, taking the two camps in the center sector and Leader 3 right after you defeat Leader 1, and then attack leader 2 from the right, for fewer losses.)

    Green Camp 5: 50 dogs, 100 roughnecks
    Sent: 50R, 50C, 50LB, 50S

Yes, Aerose... too true. My goal here is to help people like myself, who are just starting to explore the different available guides, since there is nothing on the American side that talks about Victor. Perhaps you could also post, to help, since you seem familiar with these guides? Would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure.
Thank you for the input. I agree, 240 cav at most. Wish I had known sooner!.

Well the German wiki has tons of useful info. Most of it you can figure out just by looking and after a while you don't even need the translator to figure out what your looking for. Just select the quest by picture from http://www.siedlertools.de/wiki/Abenteuer

When you select the individual quest you will see a picture link with Kampfaufstellung written on it. These are the spread sheets that usually depict a simple attack (w/o xbows) and an advanced attack in the right column (with xbows for reduced losses). The spread sheets are pretty straight forward and troop losses are at the bottom. This is the one for Victor. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...2NmRVR3c#gid=0 Oh and camps shaded gray are camps which you can bypass.

Any questions about it, ask and I can probably point you in the right direction.
