    Share your layout

Help out the new guys and share your layout.

When I was new I had no idea how to plan my layout. I ended up adding random people as friends so I could get an idea of how they developed their land. However still, I noticed a lot of people had messy layouts. With this thread I hope that we will reduce some of the planning time, minimize early messes, and find ways to better design our kingdoms.

This is me [Pharro] level 35 using 223 buildings
My primary economy is Bread, Wine, Sausage, Hardwood planks, and Tools.

Not sure if you care or not. But they do plan to implement PvP at some point. Sharing your entire economy might not be the best idea. Nice layout though!

Pharro, how did you do your map? Captured piece by piece then put together?

I zoomed all the way out and used the Windows 7 snipping tool to select the area I wanted. If you don't have windows 7 you could just take a print screen and trim excess info in paint.

Also press the V below the star to show more area.

The layout is important, but I have two bits of advice for new players
    1. Build whatever you need to get by while you conquer your island's all 9 sectors, THEN you can remodel. Do not spend gold on upgrading production buildings that you know will me moved later.
    2. Plan ahead for a BALANCED economy, do not rely on buying of the market your raw materials, is not fun and you will always endup paying more for something you "just have to have" so your building do not become idle.

Make sure you know how many bakeries, breweries and stables will want to endup with, so you know how many farms you will have. Same goes for bronze swords and tools, you can only have 6 copper mines at a time, and if you do your homework on production chain ratios, you know what to build.

I dont want to post my particular layout because much fun can be had by making your own layout, that you like and take pride in it.
