    Starfire also on g2 in zone 7 (1 Skunk, 100 rangers, 80 roughnecks) you can clear it with 80 militia, 70 cav and 50 crossbow men with one wave. You loose about 73-78 malitia.

    Per the german combat sim, you'll also run the risk of losing 26 cavs with that config, StepMonster.

    The guides are generally speaking set up to maximize losses in the cheapest unit to replace, and generally speaking that is recruits. You can on any fight adjust losses by using different troops and can find losses that are acceptable to you.

    Yes, I do understand that, thus I wanted to make sure that people understood StepMonster's suggestion included the loss of cavalry, which are pretty expensive in their own right. The way this is worded, "You loose about 73-78 malitia" implies that militia are the only troops at risk of loss.
