Need tips

i have a lot of settlers but cannot add them since we need to upgrade the Mayor's house but, in order to do that, we need Marble!!!! The marble mason is at level 17, that is way far!!! Also, I have to Copper mines but none of the settlers are working in it, why?

You need to build residences, it sounds like you have reached your maximum population. Once you build a residence it will increase the limit by 10 and allow you to have setters to work in the mines and you could use the star menu settler buffs.

I get the impression that you want more workers to work in the mine you have. It's one settler per mine - build more mines and settlers will work in them.

Also, don't rush to use up those settlers - they will be useful later when you lose a lot of troops in battle and want to rebuild them quicker. I didnt even start using my settlers until i got to about lvl 19.

Build residences. Remember also upgrading mayor's house will not give more population space.
