    Iron Woes

It seems that the mining of iron is extremely too long. I only have two iron smelters and if I do not have at least 4 mines going I cannot keep them full. It is very frustrating when you are trying to raise troops.

Yep, takes a long time... and I guess that's ok, but everything needs 85+ just to do anything when you're starting out... when you see your stone drop to zero, it's a sigh and have to just go and do something else for 4 hours, absolutely ridiculous imo. Hopefully they will think about improving this by either lowering cost requirements, or speed it up a bit.

One option for Kringer would be to try and trade for the materials needed. Personally, i do not have iron mines and my iron smelter produces bars for the steel smelter only. The only way i can get iron weapons is by buying them through trade. If you are not happy with the trades, keep your own trade giving up something for the product you need. I've seen it to be more effective rather than trying to find a trade that fits you.

For Vahlor, this game is about patience (as i've said to many people and who outright snap back at me sometimes) and everything is based on timing and resources. Lowering costs would be more beneficial to old players than new and would tip the game in favor of the oldies even more. Speeding up the game would need revamping the whole game system which is not likely to happen. If you hate waiting then sorry this game is not for u. There is a certain niche for every game and you may not fall into the niche market of this particular game.

As the higher you get in the game, it gets harder to get resources. I also have iron woes.

    Iron/steel production is unbalanced atm.
Mines need an increase to yeild to 2 per a cycle, or to 1050 ore per mine (or both).
Coal costs on iron and steel need a nerf (to atleast 50% its current value)

Try feeding 40 levels of iron smelter, then tell me about iron woes. :-p However, it is also a good lesson in buff management. And higher levels mines are limited on purpose to allow for game balance.

Upgrade your iron mines to at least 3, run them buffed.
