That said, I absolutely love the settlers. I currently still play 5, 6 and 7. I need to try to find 1-4.

I'm hoping that eventually Castle Empire will implement some sort of "campaign mode". I assume that the "Epic Adventure" are trying to accomplish this to some degree, but I always loved the underlying storyline in the Settlers games, and am hoping that the tradition continues here. I'm also hoping that the skills and research capabilities of the universities eventually will come into play. However, considering how new the game is, I definitely love it and give it 2 thumbs up.

I have Settlers 3, with all the expansions, and like it alot. Problem is, when i had Windows xp i couldn't even install it, now i have windows 7, the game at least will intall on my computer, but it won't run. Is there anyway to get Settlers 3 to run on windows xp as well as windows 7?

    Thanks.

love the settler games what would be nice tho is if they released an anthology edition which allowed you to play all the settler games (with improved graphics) without resorting to dosbox or suchlike
