Its from Norse mythology (so Scandinavian). I have been using that name since i started online gaming in 1994 in a game called Kingdom of Drakkar. Now I see it used quite a bit but I used it 1st in Everquest 1 (1999) and in the original WOW (2004). Now I see it used, most often by oriental people....go figure. Also in the original Everquest you could have a last name, which I choose Ragnarok to go with my names theme...which seem to become popular as well.Originally Posted by pandora07
