Lets be fair to everyone in chat, giant walls of text offering trades or guild recruitment have gotten out of hand. lets create a compromise policy everyone will find acceptable?
How about this example: Trading Adventures, please whisper. or, Guild Recruiting (link) or, Offering Noble House Deeds(No building licenses needed) : Whisper me please?

I hope all of us who do these kind of trades will join in and help make the chat a better experience for all.

Before you flaming trolls start up, Yes, I was one of the worst ones for spamming.
So I will be the first to really start pushing for this policy.

While your presuit is admirable, The solution is infact to create and harbor more channels
for example recruitment channel People being auto placed in global 2, 3, 4 after each channel has say 50 or 100 people.

Talar, I thought the same thing about his last sentence in his op and I agree with your ideas. They need an recruitment tab or something. I would love to be able to make private chat rooms.

For sure, Private channels would be great.

There is a general law about people. Dont control them, Rather direct their flow.

In other words, For example people mad addons for blizzards games for a long time, which made them mad
What did they do? they made an addon system, and limited it from doing things they didn't want, while at the same time allowing players to "flow in their idea's and energy".

In a similar way, we should do the same with chat.
