I was planning out my city to support my industry. All of the tool tips so far have correctly indicated their consumption and production rates when you upgrade them. Fir wood cutters do not. They say they consume 1 tree and make 2 wood at level 2. Now I get to shift my city mix because these lumberjacks lied to me. Can someone make them tell truth? Either put a 2 next to the tree at level 2 and a 3 at level 3 and so on, or make them actually just consume 1 tree and produce more wood at each level. Either way this misinformation got me way off track today, and since I was at work all day, well fun stuff.
First is it doesn't say it'll consume only 1 tree to produce 2 logs. It just doesn't show numbers.
u should already know that it'll consume 2 trees.
Also, not only cutters but also mines and farms do not show how many they'll consume in 1 circle. But they all consume the raw materials according to their lvl, like other buildings.
galaxyrao I'm not so sure you are right. I went ahead and uploaded a pic of the forester too, it clearly shows that it plants 2 trees, the devs are either inconsistent in using the numbers which is confusing, or it is a bug. In any case assuming people should know how the game mechanics work is bad game design, there is a lot of thinking and planning that goes into building your industry so having the correct data in the display allows people to make the best choices possible. I'm only now ramping up my level 2 buildings so I'm giving feedback on the experience, and I think it deserves a look.
Farms, mines, cutters all doesn't show numbers. On the other hand, buildings which replenish them like foresters and silos show how many they produce.
Also I'm sure this is not a bug, but more like a suggestion
