No eggs yet as CEO (North America) started after Easter 2011, about June/July. I believe the game was adapted from the German version, where they did have an Easter event featuring eggs. This also why the Golden Egg is an option in the Provisions house, though no one has eggs. Rumors abound that there are CEO players selling eggs, though I've never seen an offer in trade (always on the cost column).
If you edit your forum profile, there are still German options to select in the questions "Which Settlers games do you play?" and "How can your friends find you?".
