I see both sides of this argument, however, I disagree that the prices should be dictated by a few people. Also, a few people working to drive down the prices could become a futile effort. The lower prices will cause players to stop putting their resources in trade, thus causing a smaller supply and increasing the amount people are willing to pay for it. So, unless you intend to constantly increase your supply, buyers will start posting higher prices in order to attract the sellers that are no longer posting due to the low prices. Don't know if this is written clearly, so it might take a few reads to understand.

You should offer what you think is fair and accept what you think is affordable. A fair trade is one that both parties accecpt, nothing more.

One of the problems is the trade system itself. If someone only logs on for 15-20 mins at a time they are only getting a fraction of the available market. So at times they may see only one stack of marble on sale and it happens to be the person trying to get 35g for it. Well if they just absolutely need to do some building upgrade and are shortsighted (seems to be an epidemic in this game) they are going to pay the 35g. Once and if a new trade system is in place these free market factors can come into play more and we will find the true value of things. As it is now there is a large incentive to price on the higher end of the spectrum just to take advantage of these types of buyers.

Talar, if you care about helping the newbies of CEO you would sit in the help tab and tell new players what they should be paying for resources. I (like most others) take advantage of the free trade because I need that extra profit in order to advance to the next level. But I always tell new players the real value of resources as well as advising them not to take me up on my trade offers in the trade tab.

I think you just want to be a leader since starting your own guild wasn't enough of a power trip for you.

If you really care for the new players, why haven't you created a chart of the real value of resources and posted it in the forums?
And post the link in the chat channels instead of spamming them with advertisements of your guild?

I'd love to hear your answers for those questions.
