Pvp

A lot of players are looking forward to PVP but I also hear alot of players that are not fond of the idea at all and would rather keep playing the game with added adventures and such.

What about the idea of pvp islands we can travel to, like an adventure filled with many camps to fight. Que up for the adventure, wait for rival(s) to que up then start on opposite sides of the island. kill the camps to get to the other player(s) then fight for control of the island. Can have different types timed (whoever has most the island in their control wins) and untimed.

We were assured long ago by Mods that PVP will be optional.
No one will be able to attack your home islands as in Evony, for instance.
The idea you put forth is exactly what will be offered, as per the German forums.

I completely agree with this suggestion. I do not want to be constantly open to attacks by other members. I would rather keep playing the way that I am and maybe occasionally compete against others. I also feel that there needs to be controls put in place that would match like level players so that the odds aren't stacked in one player's favor with the other one having almost no chance.

I think if we had an adventure that allowed us to colonize and island which we could then build on to get the resources, that would be cool.
Then maybe those colony islands could be subject to PVP attacks.

Exactly- and there would be granite to be had and titanium deposits etc...so people would want to spend resources defending their holdings.

I think the island could be set up where 4 players search for the island, colonize a sector...... then have to fight bandits and others for the other sectors.\

The intial sector for each player couldnt be taken unless the player abadons the colony. but the drive to capture other sectors would be the xp, resources, and rewards. This would make people fight the others. also you could claim as many islands as you wish... but you must fight to keep them. Just my 2 coins

I'd prefer the ability to kill islands... at least with narrow pvp I know I can cut back on my future cash investment and gem purchasing a hefty bit... /yawn
