Is there a way to cancel an upgrade? If not that would be a great addition, as sometimes you can click the wrong icon, and not be paying attention and find that you're upgrading a building you didn't mean to upgrade (I really didn't need a level 4 farm at this point).
I wanted to tear down an almost expired gold mine. I upgraded it instead was kinda crappy but what are you gonna do right.

I went to wake up an iron sword-smith to basket buff it. Clicked to upgrade it to level 4.
The guy buffed it, wasting the basket. I lost exotic materials I was saving for my crossbow maker.
Maybe they need to move the upgrade button into the details tab.

Again I think a cancel operation button would be best. Sometimes as we've all experienced you make a mistake as to what you really wanted the action to be.
That's almost exactly what I did yesterday. I was only a few hundred exotic planks/marble from building my crossbowmaker and I accidentally upgraded my gold smelter to level 3 (which I never planned on doing). That put me back a few days and I ended up making tons of trades to get my materials back.
Would be good, ok at least give you a confirmation message before the upgrade....

I would definitely like to have the option to do that..i used 500 gold on fir wood cutter accidentally..

I'll agree with this one. TOo many times, i've accidently hit upgrade instead of stop or upgrade instead of wreck.
I wish there was a cancel upgrade - refund the resources.
