This is all leading to an unfortunate conclusion for me is that they need to nerf the weapon part of the rewards- make it up in slot 1 and make slot 6 more consistently worthwhile. Otherwise the market prices and these factors make producing these weapons a fools errand.

    Even longbows are redic.
Their cost to produce atm, is around 72g a stack, but sell for 35. Their production costs need to be downsized, the building cost needs to be nerfed, and so does the duration.

The reason I have no problem with the production time/cost for longbows is because I NEVER lose longbowmen. I made 200 of them and have never had to think about it again. Same thing with crossbowmen (although I haven't made 200 yet). If you're losing longbowmen/crossbowmen you're doing something wrong.

The reason the sell price is so low is because people do not need them. With that said, I'd like longbows and regular bows removed from adventure rewards altogether.

Ive seen the cost of units for my lv and its outrageous cost for pretty much every unit after bowmen, i mean really 40 horses for 1 calvary when it only has 5 hit points, ive only gotten up to longbowmen which isnt that bad for cost since its just upgraded from bowmen, its not just the cost to make the unit that needs revamped but also the resources to make certain pieces required for each unit that needs revamped if from what im seeing from upper posts.

If they were cheaper or easier to produce it would make it more attractive to use them as a 1st wave on some of the harder adventures just to thin out troops for your first wave.

Thanks for the heads up, Wizard. Question: At your level, what and how much do the explorers return on resource search?

You are right Bobj, it would be more attractive...but less realistic. I'm not an expert on war history and I'm too lazy to look it up so this next comment is only based on movies and what little I paid attention in history class. When have you ever seen someone sacrifice their bowmen in a first wave in a real war? I've only ever seen them send in waves of footmen. Again, I could easily be wrong here, but I think it's unrealistic.
