Vanishing Generals with Garrison

I'm doing the island of the pirates adventure. Two of my Generals along with their full garrison vanished in transition. It's been few hours now. I checked thoroughly by clicking on 'send army' and 'send army back' but I could only see my remaining generals.

Okay after the adventure finished, my fourth general returned but I am now missing my cavalry and long bowmen.

you have to wait there should be a group coming back it takes 4 hours, the units that were not equiped to a general

Vanishing generals is serious, hope that will be fixed.
