this exact thing happend to a guildie today.
they asked to buy stone, and sent a request for 7g for 400 marble.
Guess i should never trust people who want to buy stone then.
You should never trust people in this game for anything until you know them!! Too many scammers!
shoot, you have to pay attention anyway. I accidentally cheated someone I LIKE, just by looking at iron and thinking it was coal. I had to send a bunch of trades at 400:1 to make up for my mistake. Some of the itty bitty pics just look too much alike at a glance, even if you're trying to be careful.
EDIT: So, in the end, I didn't cheat them, but the first few trades were. If they'd thought I was a scammer, the screen prints would look just as bad as the example here. Luckily, they knew me better - AND - I caught my own mistake before they did.
